Overseas Tour Highlights
2000 (CCS 3)
Sydney, Australia - to participate in the Hungarian culture activities for the Olympic Games.
2002 & ‘03 (CCS 4)
Holland & Germany - The Cottons performed at the Gronau Jazz Festival, then taking the Sinatra Show on a 6 city tour of Germany including Berlin performing at the Hungarian Cultural Week.
2004 (CCS 4)
a) Start of '04 led the Cottons to London, U.K., which they took by storm appearing on the BBC Radio 2 show ‘Friday Night Is Music Night' live with the BBC Concert Orchestra and having over 2 million listeners just in the U.K. The Cottons also performed at the world famous Ronnie Scott's in front of the Hungarian Ambassador to the U.K. and on the first night in London played at the coolest jazz venue in the U.K.'s capital city, the 606 Club.
b) The Cottons then went to Warsaw, Poland after they were invited to participate and represent Hungary at the ascension concert when Hungary and 9 other countries joined an expanded European Union.
c) Breman, Germany saw the Cottons perform at the Choir Olympics to great acclaim.
2007 (CCS 5)
a) The new CCS played a programme of traditional jazz at Breda Jazz Festival, Holland.
b) Before heading to Taiwan in the summer and giving 3 concerts at The Taipei Choir and Philharmonic Summer Festival. The CCS also led a highly successful workshop for the festival participants.
